Sunday
After a long 13 hour drive our family decided (well everyone but me) to spend a day relaxing and resting. I took a few walks around enjoying the amazing mountains. We are staying in small resort located in a small ski town. It is all mostly just hotels and restaurants here but I can’t imagine more than 50-100 hundred people living here. The mountains take my breath away and I can’t wait to hike them tomorrow!

Monday
I slept in until eleven after having a crazy dream. I hadn’t slept in so late since this trip. I woke up took a quick shower and didn’t even put on make up or let my hair dry before rushing out the door to hike the amazing French Alps. I searched around the mountains forever finding tons of trails but one caught my eye. It was mostly covered in grass (which is very odd for a mountain trail) and decided to follow. I had brought my iPod with me and was listening to classical music as I hiked along looking at all the beautiful trees, failing to name which kind they were. I guess the tree tour and I did early this summer with Warren didn't stick. Anyway, I climbed over 3 fallen trees and on the last one looked up to see an amazing waterfall. About 75 yards away from that was this amazing stone bridge covered in moss that crossed the beautiful stream. It was so remarkably beautiful. It was a place I will never forget. I sat there for almost an hour just thinking and basking in it’s glory. I love France.
